The cheapest of all ways to acquire significant volumes of traffic to a web site is to optimise your web pages so that people searching on Google and other search engines find you.

Now what I want to present to you here is something that I have not yet seen, and therefore you might say that this goes against the principles of this site. Well, not quite.

Although I have not yet used the product Lucid-SEO I have seen, read and enjoyed the introductory paper, "The SEO Secret". It talks sound solid common sense in a field where sound solid sense is not all that common.

Another highly informative resource in this field is Dr. Ralph Wilson's ebook, "Dr. Wilson's Plain Spoken Guide to Search Engine Optimization" You can download this from his site for a very reasonable fee and it's worth my saying that, if you do so, I get no commission from him; I'm recommending it simply because I think quite genuinely that it's one of the best things around on the subject.
